As a result of our continued growth we are seeking Drainers – Leading Hands and Offsiders with great work ethics to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the site based teams to exceed client expectations on safety, quality, environmental impacts and programming.

All successful driven candidates will have future opportunities within the company to upskill and be trained in a range of courses.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Drainers:

Experience in laying pipe’s, installing culverts, basing work of site plans & drawings
Experience in setting out levels on site
Exposure to Sewer & Storm-Water Drainage
Reading plans and drawings
Advanced communication skills
Ability to lead a team
Plant operator tickets an advantage
PVC pipe-laying, ATCO gas common trench certified, poly-welding, MSCL pipelaying, quick-cut and dogman tickets are all an advantage
Current Drivers License

Drainers Offsider:

Work alongside and assist drainers in their tasks and duties such as laying pipework
Setting out levels on site
Ability to work within a team
Committed to safe work practices
Physically fit and able to pass drug and alcohol screen if required
General labouring
Current Drivers License
