BOS Civil are a well-respected civil construction company in Perth delivering quality projects for our clients across the public and private sectors. Our expertise includes everything from civil infrastructure projects, roadworks and concrete works, stormwater and drainage systems, streetscapes and landscapes, land development and subdivisions.

As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer looking to take the next step forward in their career to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years experience in a similar project engineering role to further your career in civil construction.

Your Role

Using your experience in similar civil and construction engineering roles you will help provide project planning assistance, onsite engineering services and technical support. Your role will include:

  • Assisting Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers to manage major projects across Perth
  • Assisting with the development of project start-up documentation, planning, programming and completion schedules
  • Providing technical support and advice on project specifications and resourcing
  • Assisting in the preparation of progress reports, client reports and cost monitoring
  • Assisting with QA inspections on site, and ensuring ITP’s and QA documentation are up-to-date
  • Assisting project leads to liaise with clients, local government authorities, subcontractors and stakeholders as needed
  • General systems admin

Your Skills and experience

  • A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2 year’s experience in the civil construction industry
  • Experience with Land Development, Subdivisions and Underground Infrastructure is desirable
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • An understanding of OH&S and Quality Control Processes
  • Project Management skills and ability to use Microsoft suite, in particular Excel, Word and Project
  • Excellent people skills 
  • Highly motivated and ability to work autonomously
