Project Overview:
This project involved the transformation of the local centre between Riverview Road and Northampton Street on Etwell St to create a revitalised streetscape area connecting local businesses and the community. The scope included demolition / earthwork, stormwater drainage, electrical & communications services, soft landscaping and pedestrian & trafficable paving, including the creation of permeable paved parking bays.
Significant planning and staging was required to accommodate the numerous affected stakeholders including shop owners, residents, pedestrians and traffic.
BOS also co-ordinated future planned Western Power underground service works to be undertaken concurrently with the construction works, significantly reducing disruption for all the stakeholders and removing the need to excavate completed works in the future to accommodate these services.
