The Ogilvie Road Streetscape Upgrade involves the removal of existing pavements, surface treatments, and redundant infrastructure to make way for new and improved streetscape elements. Key upgrades include modifications and installation of stormwater drainage, irrigation, and electrical and lighting infrastructure. A new trafficable carriageway with designated parking bays will be constructed to enhance accessibility and functionality.
To create a more inviting public space, the project includes new surface treatments, softscape areas, and the installation of street furniture. Bespoke concrete and masonry planters with integrated seating will be introduced, adding both aesthetic and functional value. An optional composite timber deck is also being considered to further enhance the streetscape.
