Project Overview:
Simpson Park in Padbury had a large open fenced sump that required redevelopment to turn the area into usable park space for the community. The open sump was replaced with underground stormwater storage utilising double stacked ecoAID cells, then backfilled using the stockpiled materials and grassed to create park space.
The scope involved excavating & stockpiling approx. 2,115m3 of earth for the installation of 396 double stacked ecoAID EC1000 cells, 2,000m2 of geofabric and approx. 1,000 tonne of bluemetal, and 4 new 1800mm dia stormwater drainage pits and connecting pipework.
